Following the freemium model on other platforms, Gameloft has made its premier racing franchise Asphalt 8: Airborne free for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 in their respective app stores. With a lot of nicely modeled tracks out of the box and a solid career mode, the popular game series continues its victory lap with Asphalt 8.The game is available for free on both the major Microsoft platforms, for which Gameloft is developing for. The Windows 8 version of the game has even better graphics and performance when compared with the Windows Phone.It used to cost 0.99$ before, but now there are no barriers for the full game, so go ahead and download it.
