Aircel has announced a new service for their
subscribers that will let them post Facebook
status updates on their profile using their voice.
The service called Facebook Voice Updates on
Aircel (surprise, surprise) was launched by the
telecom service provider today.
To use the service, you will have to use a short
code first to record your update and then post it
on Facebook. Following this, the user ’s friends
will receive a message notifying them of the
status update to which they can reply again using
their voice.
For the time being, this service only seems
available to Aircel users although we expect
Facebook to tie up with other telecom operators
to offer similar, if not the same, service.
